About us
Who are splitting your gifts?
Ann & Jetty - friends from Amsterdam, are firm believers in sharing the joy. They believe that everyone can give something and are not above a social shove or two to move the universe in the right direction. They share a love of animals and the wisdom that friendship makes the world go round.

Ann loves structure and organisation and the world tidy and neat. Her motto is “life is better with a dog”. Originally from South Africa, Ann worked as a social worker before coming to Holland. Though charitable, 'Split' is also indulgent for her - a return to doing something for herself. She takes her inspiration from her mum, who always drinks from a cup half full. Ann is rarely ruffled, just don’t hijack her post-it notes or you’ll hear her roar!

Jetty likes the good things in life: family, friends, long walks with her dog, art and emoticons. On her ‘to-do’ list is managing a lazy Saturday and detoxing her brain. Previously a banqueting coordinator, Jetty is incapable of having people over without cooking up a storm to spoil. She loves exotic places and needs to be dragged to her Pilates lessons.

Advisory Board
We are indebted to the following people for their support:

Ralph Cohen founded IceMobile in 2002 with the vision that mobile internet would become the most important medium in people's lives. Ralph likes to support ambitious internet companies with business models that change our world. He also serves as a member of the Amsterdam Unesco world heritage advisory board and in 2011 was named 'Amsterdam entrepreneur of the year’.

Hugo Heymans studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam, and Technion, the Technology Institute in Haifa (Israel). In 1996 he was appointed head of the AMC Emma Children’s Hospital. Hugo oversaw the major renovation of this hospital and with it a major reform of clinical paediatrics; one result being that today paediatrics focus not just on treating sick children, but also on helping them (and their parents) build a fulfilling and normal life wherever possible.

Jaap van Manen is a partner of Strategic Management Centre, and teaches Corporate Governance at Groningen University. He is one of the founders of BoardResearch.org, a research institute which facilitates the evaluation of supervisory boards.
